I'm very, VERY happy to announce that PLOMO is near its final development stages! This started (and still is) a small thing I made to remove the cobwebs from my system when it comes to making games. I don't expect it to be anything else than that, and I had a fun time trying out mechanics and features that I'll feature in upcoming projects. Hell, might probably go and finally releasing hiatus projects if I feel like it, why not.

Oh, and I'm moving to GB Studio for a bit for one simple reason: I can play my games as ROMs. And there's one particular game very close to me I'd like to play on my Retroid Pocket 2S...

I think it's time to get back to punching.

Hi there everyone!

PLOMO's progress is going very well and, if nothing goes wrong, I will have it finished and released by earlier this February. After digging up I managed to find some plugins for Construct 2 I left behind in the other computer, so that means I'm going to put Medals in the game! Since I'm fully back on the whole making games thing I'll add an extra ending (good luck trying to get it first though).

P.S: If anyone wants to collab and offer their sound effect crafting skills feel free to send me a message! The royalty free options offered by Newgrounds are all awesome but I'm always up to let true pros handle the beeps and boops.

Hey y'all!

First of all thanks to The Tank Tribune for featuring my recent post about open comms. I'm also available for small game projects too, so if you need someone that makes the pixels move/ backgrounds feel free to send me a message! Now to the important stuff: Plomo.

I'm now working on putting the levels together and I'm wondering about what would you want, so I'd love if you could reply this with your honest thoughts about it:

Option A) Short base game now, add extra mode later.

Option B) Base game with extra mode later, more frequent updates now.

Thanks in advance for your comments and have a nice week!

2024, fun year ahead right? Well...

First things first: after 12 years, I quit my job as a teacher. "Burnt" doesn't even begin to describe the previous year regarding working as such, so now I'm on standby regarding income (comms are open yet again, so if you like what I draw/do and you want something custom feel free to send me a message).

Good news though: I'm back at making games yayyyyyyy. I finished putting everything together for the next one (previous project is on hiatus, it's taking me a lot to figure some things out), so hope you enjoy it once it comes out. It's called Plomo, and it will be a short experience just to remove the rust a bit.

Hope you enjoy it!

Y'all be happy to know (or not, I don't know you) that it has happened: I'm getting tired of my job. Which means I'm getting back to making games yayyyy! I have to address two things about my next one (already in the making and YES I WILL FINISH THIS ONE since it's only going to be a demo):

  1. This game's going to be experimental as hell, so keep that in mind before playing it.
  2. You won't get anything else from me about the meaning, context, controls, NOTHING. You are probably going to not enjoy this one at all but that's fine, you're not supposed to enjoy experiments.

I'll upload it on Newgrounds as usual as well as in my itchio page. Biggest foe against me working faster on it is the weather, since I can't work on it if I'm melting like a popsicle.

And that's it, hope you have a great October and see you soon!

Been a minute, as they say. Since Twitter is dying slowly but surely and my holiday break is being so far so good I thought hey, why not get back to drawing the squares? So yeah, expect more stuff again at least until September arrives and I'm back to the grind. Don't expect games though, old computer died and I lost my Construct 2 files.

Buuuuuuut I might get back in track by getting Construct 3, who knows...

Been... A while, huh?

Ok, first things first: I got a new job. It's basically my dream job, and I'm very happy with it. But with dream jobs comes less time to put on personal stuff, which means that lovely word is going to appear now: Hiatus. Yay!

I don't know for how long I'll stay without posting BIG stuff (games or game collabs), so don't get your hopes up. I'll post pixel art here and there to keep the brain busy and to not forget how to do the square go square, but yeah: don't expect losts of stuff from me these months.

I'll return, probably. Or not, sometimes staying outside the Internet and not chasing the likes and the views is quite a nice thing to do. We'll see.

Stay cool,

Ray

Due to the extreme heat wave happening in my town these weeks the development of Press It Pete is on hiatus until further notice. Computer can't handle it and neither I am tbh, so very sorry if you were looking forward to it.

THE GAME WILL RELEASE. This is not another The Vent situation, game's 85% done but I need to add some assets/fix some bugs. Can't give a launch date right now, but I'll do my best to have it done before Fall (mostly because I want to move on to more projects).

Stay cool or at least try to,

Ray
